Panic Bars are push bars/crash bars installed on exit doors to allow quick exiting of buildings. (e.g. where emergency or panic situation could occur)

Panic Bar Function - Operated by a horizontal push bar, which when pushed in a downward arc withdraws either the bolts or latch, releasing the door for immediate escape in the event of an emergency.

Note: Panic bar only, door & 201 cylinder not included

  • An economical range of push bar devices designed to suit single and double door applications.
  • Can be used on aluminium, hollow metal or wood swinging commercial doors.
  • Available as rim and surface mounted vertical panic bolt devices.

Features:

  • Suitable for all types of single doors
  • Suitable for use on single doors and the first opening leaf of double doors with rebated meeting stiles
  • Supplied in left or right hand, but can be reversed on site
  • Optional model available with manual dogging (hold open)(Dogging not suitable for fire doors)
  • Can be used with a rim cylinder fitted to the outside of the door
  • For double rebated door applications the 377E double door set should be used.
  • Successfully tested up to 2 hours (depending on type of doorset) on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1905.1- 2005, Part 1: Fire Resistant Doorsets
