Intumescent Door Grilles is commonly used in various types of buildings and applications where fire protection and smoke control are essential.
Intumescent Door Grilles Function designed to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke through doors, particularly in commercial and public buildings where fire-rated doors are installed.
Kit Includes:
- 1 x IFD
- 2 x Cover Grilles
- Kilargo Mastic & fixings
Features:
- Innovative, slimline design
- Suitable for both Mini & Maxi fire doors
- No moving parts result in a robust trouble free installation which will not rattle or vibrate
- Easy installation in New or Existing doors
- Fully tested to AS 1530.4 to comply with the requirements AS/NZS 1905.1
- Aluminium cover grilled as standard
- Comes complete with a pair of decorative face-fixed powder coated cover grilles that provide a clean, neat appearance, plus a tube of Kilargo fire-rated mastic
- Grille features decorative finish suitable for INTERNAL USE ONLY

- Fixing: The IFD-D damper cell is centred into the prescribed door cut-out and held in place with Kilargo intumescent mastic. The decorative cover grilles are then secured to both sides of the door leaf with screws provided.
