DeadLatch are commonly found on front doors that don’t have handles or if they do they are purely there for aesthetics.  

DeadLatch Function - is a locking mechanism that locks automatically without having to turn a knob or use a key

*Note: The Lockwood 001 deadlatch is available in 5 finishes (Brown, Everbrass, Chrome Plate, Matte Black and Satin Chrome Pearl)

• The Brown is avaiable with an inward opening strike for timber frames
• The Everbrass is available with an inward opening strike for timber frames. It can also be used on inward opening metal frames by purchasing an addtional metal frame strike (001-3053EVB)
• The Chrome Plate is available with an inward opening strike for timber frames. It can also be used on inward opening metal frames by purchasing an addtional metal frame strike (001-3053CP)
• The Matt Black is avaiable with an inward opening strike for timber frames
• The Knob Satin Chrome Pearl is avaiable with an inward opening strike for timber and metal frames and an outward opening timber frames
• The Lever Satin Chrome Pearl is available with an inward opening strike for timber frames. It can also be used on inward opening metal frames or outward opening timber frames by purchasing an addtional metal frame strike (001-3053SP)

If you're purchasing more than 1 lock, We offer a Keyalike service (where you can use the same key for all locks purchased from this listing). But please note you will need to purchase 1 keyalike service per additional lock purchased.

• e.g. If you need 3 locks keyed alike, you will need to purchase 2x Keyalike service (to match the keys for the 2nd and third lock to the keys of the first lock).
• e.g. If you need 5 locks keyed alike, you will need to purchase 4x keyalike service.

This double cylinder deadlatch is suitable for open-in timber frame doors.

LockAlert

• The 001 Deadlatch incorporates Lockwood's patented LockAlert status indicator that shows the Lockset mode at a glance.

The lockset can operate in three modes:

• Red - Secure Mode - Locked from the inside and outside.
• Green - Safety Mode - Locked from the outside and free to exit from inside.
• Green Top - Passage Mode - Free to enter from outside and free to exit from inside.

DualSelect Locking

• DualSelect introduces two stage external locking – safety mode and secure mode.
• Safety mode - By rotating the key 90 degrees the bolt can be thrown achieving external security whilst the internal turn knob is free to exit (Safety Mode).
• Secure mode - By rotating the key a further 45 degrees to the second click, the bolt will now be secure on both sides of the door (Secure Mode).

SafetyRelease

• Automatically unlocks the internal knob upon entry minimising the risk of being locked in.

• Bump and pick resistant.
