Mortice Lock is commonly used in doors. It is known for its durability, security, and classic design. It consist of several components that work together to provide effective locking and unlocking functions.
Mortice Lock Function - where the deadbolt locks by a key on both the exterior and interior of the lock. Latch is operated on the interior and exterior by a knob or lever.
Features:
- Anti-lockout is now non-handed
- Multi-function case allows easy conversion of a vestibule lock function (inside handle free) to a combination lock function (both handles locked) by a simple external operation
- Reversible stainless steel latch adjusts for inwards/ outwards opening and left/right hand without case disassembly
- Bolt-through fixing for 50.8 mm diagonal, 38-41 mm horizontal fixing door furniture, and QuickFix furniture
- Closed through holes to reduce dust getting into the lock
- Radiused latchbolt for smoother closing action
- Extended door gap range to accommodate deadlatching on a wider range of doors
- Compatible with most restricted keying systems
- Supplied less cylinder
