Electromagnetic Shock Absorber is an accessory used with electromagnetic door holders on fire and smoke doors. It cushions the door when it is released, preventing it from slamming into the wall or door stop.

Electromagnetic Shock Absorber Function - is designed for fire doors. It features both an integrated interrupter push button and a soft-close shock absorber, allowing doors to be held open during normal operation and automatically released when power is removed or a fire alarm is activated.

Features:

• The EM830 Series of Hold Open Magnets can work as standalone or with an integrated fire system
• These failsafe devices will automatically release if connected to a fire detection system
• Some models include integrated "interrupter buttons" giving the ability to open or close the door manually at any time. Other models have an integrated soft close shock absorbers for silent operation i.e. in Hospitals.
