Primary Lock Short Backset is commonly used as the primary locking mechanism on residential entry doors, especially when the door has a narrow stile or limited space between the door edge and frame.
Primary Lock Short Backset Function - designed to engage with a corresponding strike plate installed on the door frame or jamb. When the door is closed and the bolt is engaged, it securely holds the door in place.
Features:
- Ideal for commercial sliding door and shop front applications.
- Fabricator primary lock body only
- Suits sliding or hinged doors.
- Chamfered bolt for better self latching
- Positive deadlocking action
- Can be adapted to suit most function with the addition of appropriate cylinders and turns
- Suits hollow stile door sections with 36 mm internal width and 58 mm maximum external width
- Compatible to most restricted keying systems
