Short Backset Mortice Deadlock & Cylinder Turn is a heavy-duty mortice lock designed for narrow stile aluminium, steel, or timber doors where there is limited space for a standard backset lock. It combines a key-operated cylinder on the outside with a thumb turn (cylinder turn) on the inside for secure and convenient operation.

Short Backset Mortice Deadlock & Cylinder Turn Function - Occupants can unlock the door quickly from inside by turning the thumb turn. The short backset design fits doors with limited lockcase depth where standard mortice locks cannot be installed and suitable for both hinged and sliding door applications when used with the appropriate strike and cylinder.

Features:

• Short backset, swing-bolt deadlocks suitable for narrow stile sliding and swing doors
• Positive action deadbolt is hooked to engage and lock into a latching or security strike when the bolt is in the thrown position (3541 only)
• Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by either key, turnknob, escape turn or handle. All 3540 Series Cylinder Mortice Locks are built of the finest materials, with the easy action and solid feel of the world's finest locks
