Finger Guard Seal used to protect against the terrible injuries that might result from catching fingers in hinged doors. Most commonly used in areas where young children are present like child care centres

Finger Guard Seal Function - prevents fingers from becoming stuck on the door's hinge cavity side. On the side with the hinge cavity, the product is fastened to the door and the jamb.

Features:

• A safety strip which prevents fingers being jammed on the hinge side of a door. It is fixed to the door and the jamb on the hinged side
• This product can also be used to cover the hinge-barrel side of the door (the side you can see the hinges from when the door is closed) where dimensions suit
• Note: It is recommended to fit RP62LGBK to the full height of the door/jamb for maximum protection. For longer lengths, butt join together

  • Fixing holes are pre-slotted.

  • Note: Architectural perimeter seal and door bottom extrusions are anodised 15μm and threshold plates are anodised 25μm for maximum durability. Black aluminium is anodised 25μm to 40μm.
