Finger Guard Seal used to protect against the terrible injuries that might result from catching fingers in hinged doors. Most commonly used in areas where young children are present like child care centres
Finger Guard Seal Function - prevents fingers from becoming stuck on the door's hinge cavity side. On the side with the hinge cavity, the product is fastened to the door and the jamb.
Features:
- Prevents finger entrapment on the hinge side of doors
- Compact (smaller) guard for hinge barrel side protection
- Suitable for butt-hinged doors (up to 170 Degrees opening)
- Screw-fixed installation with pre-slotted holes and cover strip
- Durable anodised aluminium carrier with flexible PVC seal
- Reversible seal (light grey / black finish)
- Tested to BS 8613:2017 (Class 2 finger protection)
- Long-life performance (tested over 200,000 cycles)
- Can be used with RP62 series for full hinge-side protection (both sides)
- Recommended full-height installation for maximum safety
