The first MagnaLatch® ever made – the ‘Side Pull’ model – has now been redesigned in a “key-lockable” version.

As opposed to earlier Side Pull latches, this model incorporates D&D’s patented “Lost Motion Technology”, a zone of free-play that makes the MagnaLatch Top Pull the world’s safest gate latch.

Following the tradition of safety, strength and style set by the rest of the MagnaLatch range, this lockable model is ideal for use on both metal and wood gates around around homes and gardens. It is also ideal as a latch for swimming pool gates when installed in accordance to regulations.

This latch comes with vertical and horizontal adjustment of up to 8mm, which makes installation easier and allows fine-tuning of latch alignment well after installation.

Powered by the same super-strong “permanent magnets” as other MagnaLatch models, and made from strong engineering polymers and stainless steel components, it is designed for a lifetime of service.

• The NSW government has brought in new laws for swimming pool owners. You will need to register your pool by 29/10/2013.
