Turn Snib allows you to hold open the latch, or to prevent the key from turning in the lock by fixing the bolt in place.

Turn Snib Function - on privacy and locking doors, an oval turn snib on a round backplate actuates a privacy bolt, lock hub, or snib adaptor.
