Raven RP38 Automatic Door Bottom Seal

Door Bottom Seal - used to close gaps around door frames (the jambs and the header). Sound, light, draught, moisture, fire, and smoke can all be significantly reduced by closing the gaps along the door frame.

Door Bottom Seal Function - the seal has a spring loaded mechanism which lifts the seal clear of the floor, in a parallel motion, as soon as the door is opened. Pressure against the door jamb on the adjustable brass strike button operates the seal automatically.

Features:

• A heavy duty, automatic door bottom seal that is spring loaded to lift clear of the floor when the door is opened
• It is self levelling and reversible for left and right handed operation
• Acoustically designed, it features an EPDM foam gasket for acoustic door applications and doubles as a kick plate when semi-morticed
• Operated automatically by pressure against the door jamb or stop on its adjustable brass strike

• Face mounted or semi-morticed into bottom of single and double butt hinged doors
• For plain meeting stiles is required. The RP38 can also be face mounted to the bottom of metal doors.
