Rim Lock is the oldest type of locking device for a door. Its basic design comprises a surface mounted box containing a deadbolt type of lock and a latch.

Rim Lock Function - is a surface mount lock that installs on the surface of a door and uses a latch that slides into the keeper on the door rim or frame to secure the door.

• Low Security Rim Lock, Mounted onto the surface of the door, these style of locks are one of the oldest lock designs and will give your home that heritage look. Tongue not reversible. Not suitable for rebated double/French doors.
